Recently we sent out our newsletter, attached with donation envelopes. The response has been tremendous!

Some very exciting news at Kimbercote these days. The Ontario Trillium Foundation has awarded Kimbercote Farm the funding needed to update the septic and water system for the farm house.
Construction of this project will begin in the spring of 2008, and will correspond with water awareness programming. This will include alternative septic system education, well water and ground water protection and safety, as well as volunteer opportunities and workshops.
We will be improving the well water system, and installing a Waterloo Biofilter. More information, dates and times of upcoming workshops, and opportunities to volunteer will be posted in the near future. In the meantime, interested parties, or folks with any information that may be pertinent can contact info@kimbercote.org.

Quick Update:
The water filtration system was installed in the spring of 2008 and is working flawlessly. The Waterloo Biofilter system is installed. Photos of the installation will be available shortly.
